Goal
Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery is the surgical technique that allows us to renew the look, correcting the imperfections derived from age that appear on the eyelids, achieving a fresher and more youthful look.
Indications
When the excess of skin and fat that usually appear over the years, they generate folds in the upper eyelids and bags in the lower eyelids give an unsightly appearance, causing an image of tiredness and sadness that ages our eyes. In some more extreme cases, sagging skin on the upper eyelids can even make vision difficult.
It can be done in isolation for both the upper and lower eyelids or both.
There is no suitable age for this type of intervention, although it is an intervention that tends to be associated with mature people, since the appearance of bags under the eyes can occur both at early and advanced ages, although as the tissues of that area relaxes, bags are accentuated and a greater cutaneous redundancy is produced.
Differentiators
To shorten recovery times and avoid "bruises" we put plasma. In cases where it is not necessary to adjust the skin of the lower eyelid, the intervention is carried out inside the eyelid so that there is no visible external scar, which is what It is known as Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty.
To strengthen the skin in this area, we complement it with fractional laser, significantly improving the result.
